This is where you go to get all the freebies I have for you!
Of course, I add stuff all the time; how are you going to keep track of it all?
Well, I’d suggest joining my mailing list!
Just click this button and you’ll be whisked away to a magical land where you can enter your email! Then come on back, ’cause there’s lots of good stuff here today!
How about a free book? Or two? You can get my take on John Ringo’s Paladin of Shadows universe in The Kildaran. You can also get the SECOND volume of The Cassidy Chronicles, The Road to the Stars. Both totally free for you!
And here are some special deals from companies we use and trust.
Let’s begin with organic produce. Do you know how much pesticides get sprayed on the fruits and vegetables you eat? How much gets into the ground, into the soil and water? It’s a huge challenge!
But organic produce costs a bunch, doesn’t it? There’s a loophole, though. Supermarkets reject produce which isn’t perfect, but there’s nothing wrong with it in terms of flavor and quality. Misfits Markets buys this produce and sells it at much, much lower prices, prices comparable to the non-organic foods!
You build a box each week; you have three days to put it all together. You have to put $30 of produce in, and then there’s a small shipping charge (for us it’s $5.50), and that’s it. You get your box a few days later!
Want to get organic and sustainable beef, pork, seafood, and other meats? I’ve got some choices for you! We’ve used all three services and are happy with all three!
First up is Crowd Cow – they have the widest selection of meats and have competitive prices. You can get a membership – which is free – to get a discount off your meats as well as a lower threshold for free shipping and regular shipments of your favorite products. You pay for each selection you make.
Second is Butcher Box. This is another free membership with organic meats; each month you can select products from a bunch of choices. The selections aren’t as wide as Crowd Cow, but you’re able to choose your meats without any difference in price; it’s a flat price for each type of box. You can add on various items by paying for them individually.
Third is Wild Pastures. It’s a subscription service, similar to Butcher Box. It has a good selection of products, though the seafood selection is somewhat limited. The boxes are pre-selected for you based on your type of box, which is a nice feature if you’re busy. But if you don’t like the selections you can change them, sometimes with a fairly nominal upcharge. There is a membership fee, but you can try it free for 30 days.
Now for the PERMA-FREEBIES!
First, the Cassidy Chronicles Sampler – the first 10 chapters of ALL FOUR Cassidy books! Free for you as a PDF!
Second, the single file which contains all the songs in the A Quiet Revolution playlist! There are thirty songs in this playlist; hope you enjoy it!
I’ve decided I like doing a playlist for my books; so here’s the version for Triumph’s Ashes! Feel free to download the entire MP3 file as well as the chapter guide by clicking the Download buttons! There are two substitutions, where the cover version in the printed playlist wasn’t available for purchase: Kickstart My Heart (Motley Crue) and Long Live Rock (The Who). If you have Amazon Music, you can reconstruct the playlist there; however, you won’t have Colonial Anthem by Bear McCreary.
How about a book by another author? Victoria Williams has a great book out now, Proxima G, and you can get it FREE with Kindle Unlimited! Here’s a description:
Safety lights are out, oxygen production has halted, and her partner is out of reach on the nearby moon. Shannon is stuck on this frozen, lifeless rock 4.2 light-years from home, on a planet known simply as Proxima g. She’s racing against time to repair the broken life-support system so her wife, son, and all the other refugees from Earth don’t arrive to a useless habitat that’s succumbed to the harshness of space.
Can she save this habitation dome, and the vital food supply growing inside, before it’s too late?
Or if you’d like another alternative, how about one which looks to a future when genetic manipulation is the norm and abnormalities are punishable by culling? Check out Abnormal by AJ Mullican! Read a brief description: In Heaven’s Light, the difference between a genetic Gift and an Abnormality is determined by the number of credits in your parent’s bank account. Gifts are reserved for the wealthy, and Abnormals are terminated—in the parent’s best interest, of course. Clare Rhodes is used to life under the radar. She uses her abnormality on a stranger at the club and finds an oil-slick of nightmares. The horrific visions invade her mind as she slips deeper… Knives. Fists. Fire. He knows more about her than anyone should. He even knows her Norm-ID is a fake.
She didn’t mean to kill him. On the run and off the grid are Clare’s only options.
Too bad she’s being tracked…
