If you’re reading this, you’re probably like me, at least in one important way: I love reading a good fantasy.
Is it any surprise? It’s one of the first genres we’re introduced to as children. Talking bears who go for a walk for their porridge to cool? Dwarves who care for a princess? Greedy imp who spins straw into gold? Come on, these are fantasies, and we get them in the crib!
For many of us, that love of the fantastic carries through childhood and into adulthood. I remember reading – no, devouring – the various Piers Anthony series. Xanth? Absolutely, dreadful puns and all. Split Infinity? Definitely. And I will continue to argue that his Incarnations of Immortality series was one of the first urban fantasies out there (with a splash of paranormal fantasy for good measure).
More recently, the planet went crazy for the HP books, the LOTR movies, and, of course, the GOT television series. There’s a huge, almost boundless, demand for fantasy worlds, and as authors we work hard to meet the demand.
But…
From a reader’s point of view, waiting for The Next Book can be painful, can’t it? No matter how quickly the author writes, there’s a need to know how your favorite character fares. Is the evil ruler vanquished for good, or are they coming back for round eighteen? Did the third wheel love interest finally get the hint? And what, exactly, is IN that locked box?
And authors hate leaving readers hanging. We really do. We understand, viscerally, what it means to be kept on tenterhooks.
That’s why I’ve put together this Storybundle.
Every one of these box sets is a complete story arc!
That’s right. No waiting for what’s next, no hoping our fingers stay uncramped. The stories are there, ready for you to dive in and explore our worlds. And while the stories may continue in other books, what you have in your hands now will give you that satisfied sense of completeness that only a well-crafted resolution can provide.
So what do I have for you? Oh, boy, have I got some treats for you!
High fantasy. Urban fantasy. YA fantasy. Paranormal romance, urban fantasy and romantasy, and even a visit back to the root of our love of fantasy: fairy tales retold!
